Pankti Shines at The Future of Architecture Awards

Pankti Adani has been named Young Architect of the Year by The Future of Architecture Awards.

Considered one of the most fiercely contested categories of the night, Pankti was up against some of the industry’s best young talent, but the judges singled her out as someone truly deserving of the title.

She was recognised as a young, ambitious architect with a solid grasp of architecture fundamentals and a desire to achieve the best possible design outcomes.

“I am grateful to have a great team of managers and mentors around me early on in my career to support my professional and personal development and I’m so excited to leverage what I’ve learned and acquire even tougher skills to best serve our clients,” said Pankti. “Collaboration and an entrepreneurial mindset are two of the most important core values at Godwin Austen Johnson. Being able to practice these core values and work with like-minded people has allowed me to be part of a culture that drives innovation and execution. I’m excited to continuously work on personal development, take on challenging roles, and give back to incoming interns and graduates of architecture.”

From developing an interest in infrastructure drawings and photography at the age of 16, Pankti has turned her passion into a career in architecture and is now a key team member at Godwin Austen Johnson.

She is described by colleagues as ‘surprisingly innovative and always open to learning’. Her design work and dedication, they say, have no limits, and she takes on any challenge fearlessly and with enormous gusto.

She boasts an impressive portfolio of projects including the new Madinat Jumeirah Living project and the Serenia Living on The Palm Jumeirah where she assisted the architecture and design team throughout the concept and schematic design phases. She was also instrumental in the interior design for the Jafar Centre at Dubai College, further expanding her skill set in educational spaces.

The Future of Architecture Awards, which was held on June 12th, celebrates architects and projects that redefine the regional architectural paradigm. They aim to increase awareness of outstanding design, recognising creativity and ingenuity.
