Located in Al Barsha, the new nursery uses the concept of different coloured ladybirds to delineate departments and add a highly visual branding element to the building.


Each Ladybird group uses different colours and textures such as concrete, rubber, stones, grass, and a wooded area to create tactile and varied playing spaces for the children.

The main circulation is characterised by familiar sights from the surrounding landscape mimicking houses, trees, fences and road markings.

Indoor garden spaces provide a link to the external environment with the potential to open up the space to the fresh air in the cooler months. Sensory gardens and planting areas include benches built into the landscaping.
